This course is for learning the tips and tricks to create and manage social media accounts in the most efficient manner to reach your desired target. The social media platforms are Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, Google Ads, as well as email and website linked marketing.
At the end of the course students will be able to define different types of social media channels along with key trends in this evolving medium, to describe and apply the best practices for utilizing various social channels in marketing plans. Students will research and analyze audience behavior and their needs in order to define target segments, develop appropriate marketing programs based on business objectives, and apply marketing techniques within the overall integrated marketing communications program. Students will have the ability to create social media marketing campaigns with targeted objectives & outcome measurements. In addition, they will identify and define appropriate metrics of success for the issues of privacy, security, regulation, political impact, and new/emerging technologies, all while being able to work collaboratively with a team or as an individual contributor to create and present a project.
